A hearing over whether to halt operations at “Alligator Alcatraz” because of environmental concerns ended Wednesday with no decision about the migrant detention facility in the Florida Everglades.

The facility, which opened in July, is erected on an airstrip in the heart of the Everglades, in Big Cypress National Preserve in Ochopee.
